Liyu UK enjoyed a hugely successful three days at The Print Show, with two companies agreeing to purchase machines on the stand. Indigo Graphics has purchased a Liyu Platinum Q3-XL 3.2m Hybrid UV-LED printer and Xplort has purchased a Liyu Platinum KCXL 3.2m flatbed UV-LED printer.
Eddie Tucker, managing director at Liyu UK, comments, “2023 has been a fantastic year for Liyu UK, which has seen us be established as a major player in the super-wide format UV market. No one had a bigger presence at The Print Show than us, and we benefited hugely from the exposure this gave us. Securing two new customers is very much the icing on the cake, but it is also clear evidence that our solutions offer great value, great quality and the high levels of reliability needed for business-critical printing requirements.”
Michael Ellison, owner at Indigo Graphics, says, “The Liyu Platinum Hybrid printer is an important investment for us and prepares us for the next stage of our business development by enabling us to respond to all wide format print requirements. We are now able to print three times faster than before, with a maximum print speed of 360m2 per hour). We can also now print up to 3.2 metres wide at 2880dpi, which opens up a huge array of applications that we can deliver to our customers.”
He continues, “The Platinum Q3 opens the doors for much larger dimension printing. We can provide more for events, heavier banners, larger size boards, giant wall art and much more. This can now all be produced in-house, on the Isle of Wight.”
He concludes, “Also very important is that the Q3 will allow us to be much more eco-friendly as it is one of the lowest power consumption machines of its kind available and uses green-certified ink. We are delighted to be working with Liyu UK to help us make this happen.”
Xplort and the Liyu UK team raise a glass to sale of Platinum KCXL 3.2m flatbed UV printer
Earlier in the show, Liyu were also able to announce the sale of a Platinum KCXL 3.2m flatbed UV printer to Xplort Ltd. Eddie adds, “It’s great to have made these sales at the show, and we are very much looking forward to working with Indigo and Xplort to help them meet plans and objectives with these printers.”
