The waiting is over! (for now). The highly anticipated shortlist for the 2023 UK Graphic Awards has been revealed

Finalists have seen off some stiff competition to land themselves in the running for prizes across 14 categories, including Branded Interiors, Retail, Events & Exhibitions, and more, reflecting the creativity and innovation of the large format printing and graphics production industry.

The judges have worked hard over the last few weeks, poring through record numbers of entries to provide a fantastic list of finalists. The real hard work now begins to find the winners to be revealed at the Gala Dinner at Birmingham Town Hall on 4th October.

Nastia Bodnaruk, Project Coordinator for the UK Graphic Awards, says,

“We’ve been blown away by the response from the industry and the quality of entries submitted. It was so hard to whittle these down to a shortlist, never mind having to come up with the winners. I don’t envy the judges for their job, but I do know they have the knowledge, experience and deep understanding of what makes a great project to make the right choices.”

Among the categories, the Rising Star award, recognising exceptional individuals under the age of 30, has seen the greatest increase in entries this year, further showcasing the bright future of the industry. Additionally, two highly coveted titles, Wide-format Printer of the Year in the under 30 and 30+ employee categories, will be awarded to outstanding companies pushing the boundaries of large-format printing.

The winners will be revealed at the glamorous gala dinner, once again to be hosted by ITV’s amazing Emma Jessop. Tickets for the event are now available for purchase at ukgraphicawards.com. “Emma has taken our industry under her wing. She loves supporting our events, and we love being in her safe hands to lead us through the ceremony. October’s gala dinner is set to be a fantastic opportunity for the industry to come together and celebrate their very best work and people. We can’t wait!” concludes Nastia.
