Liyu UK will be taking pride of place at The Print Show 2023 in Birmingham NEC from 19-21 September (stand A30). With a total space of 255sqm, visitors will get the chance to see the Platinum Series vast range of UV flatbed, roll to roll and hybrid printers, as well as its popular fully automatic Q-cut digital flatbed cutter in action.

The Platinum Q3 XL Pro Hybrid seems to be a very popular machine in the UK right now and has plenty of installations all over the country and customers singing its praises. The Q3 boasts as having a standalone heavy-duty dual roll system as standard and Ricoh Gen6 printheads for high levels of speed and quality. The Q3 has an automatic feed and continue system which can be implemented with a robotic system or can be used just by a single operator. It’s dual-sided monitors gives operators ease of use and quick interface access along with other clever features. The Q3 handles accurate reverse printing with speeds up-to 400 Sqm/Hr, this is a true workhorse which will grow with any company thanks to it’s upgradable head system and perfect for sign and print production companies looking for top quality with great value.
The Platinum KC XLpro 3020 Flatbed. Media pop-up pins for fast media positioning, remote controlled 8 zone reversable vacuum are a standard feature along with an impressive 100mm print depth which can be upgraded to 250mm if requested. The Platinum KC also has a choice of Printheads with the ever-popular Ricoh Gen6 printheads, Konica Minolta, Kyocera or the Epson heads all giving exceptional print quality but the Ricoh is the most popular choice. A Linear drive (beltless) and LED UV with liquid cooling make the KC one of the fastest flatbed printers available. With print resolution up to 2400 DPI and a maximum print speed of 370sqm/h, this is a printer not to be missed.
The Platinum PCT 3.2m roll-fed printer. Liyu’s excellent roll-to-roll machine which is simply a work of art in itself. The LED water cooled system and Ricoh Gen 6 heads gives the PCT impressive reliability, quality and speed and is ideally suited for a huge range of media thanks to its anti-wrinkle roller system. So impressive is the feed system is being called the textile machine that can print onto polyester, fabric, banner, vinyl and many other substrates but without being sublimation. The PCT has a print resolution up to 2400 DPI and a maximum speed of 120sqm/h.
Liyu Q-Cut 3521 2.1 x 3.5 flatbed cutter Q-Cut is Liyu’s new generation of digital cutting machines. It comes as standard with a huge array of cutting tools which cater for a wide range of applications along with a powerful 1.8Kw liquid cooled router, Festool Vacuum and all German made tooling which work in perfect harmony with any digital printer. Equipped with a high-precision camera, the Platinum Q-Cut flatbed cutters automatically aligns itself on any material, solving any problems of any inaccuracy from media distortion.
Media from Innotech Digital The Liyu printers will be producing sample output all day, every day, to demonstrate their incredible quality and speed. The media has been provided by Innotech Digital, whose huge range of printable digital media complements the Liyu range perfectly. Banners, PVC-free materials, rigid boards and more have all been supplied from Innotech’s extensive range.
