Entry Deadline extended for The Sign Awards

After large numbers of late entries and requests for an  extension, you now have until Friday 6th January to complete entries

The organisers of The Sign Awards have announced an extension to the entry deadline. Event manager, Ira Kovtiuh, explains, “In the final couple of days leading up to the original deadline, more than 30 new entries started. We have received several requests from people asking for a bit more time, particularly for those trying to gather images and gain permission from their clients to enter. With Christmas coming, we felt it was important to give people the time to do this so we have agreed to extend the deadline.”

She adds, “The judging process takes time and will begin immediately after the new deadline, so we can’t extend again. We encourage everyone thinking about an entry to get started. We have made the process as straightforward as possible and have provided a series of helpful articles and videos to help you along.”

More information on categories and how to enter can be found at www.thesignawards.com.

Over ten categories, the organisers aim to celebrate all that is great about the sign industry. They aim to bring the industry back together, sharing ideas and innovations and recognising its amazing achievements at a gala ceremony in central Birmingham on Wednesday 22nd March, during the Sign & Digital UK exhibition.

Entry to the contest is free and open to manufacturers of signage from anywhere in the UK and Ireland. Judging is blind and impartial and will be carried out by an international jury of experienced signage industry professionals.

Categories aim to cover all areas of sign-making and each application should take no more than 15 minutes. The new deadline is Friday 6th January 2023.
