Established in 1965, Allen Signs provides a fully comprehensive service to its customers, who range from small sole-traders to large national franchises. The company has become well-established and well-known in the Lincoln area over the past 58 years of trading, covering the county with its own installation team. In house skills and machinery mean the company is able to control the entire production process, from design through to manufacturing with a large, impressive portfolio of projects to show.

Allen Signs is seen as a one stop shop trusted by hundreds of customers every year to design, manufacture, supply and install all printed business requirements, such as roller banners, A-frames, flags, window decals, complex building signage and much more. The company uses a vast amount of different materials and years of experience mean they can advise clients on the best choice for longevity and weather resistance.

Over the past few years, investment has been made in several specialist printers and laminating and cutting equipment, meaning the full process can be overseen in house and the quality expected by customers can always be achieved. The team also complete a large number of vehicle livery applications, including full wraps, in the workshop on Whisby Way, Lincoln.

Liam Cross, a Business Administrator Apprentice hired in January, paved the way for a year of growth. In the last month the company has invested further with three new employees; Laura Turner joins the company as Sales and Marketing Executive and Ben Stewardson and Sophie Grant begin their journeys as Graphic Designers.

Laura has been employed to manage the internal marketing for Allen Signs, looking after the digital presence and using strategic activities to market the business alongside the overall growth plan and business objectives. She will also help to support the sales team, ensuring a smooth line of communication. Ben and Sophie have been brought in to fulfil the rapidly increasing requests for design work, meaning the business is able to complete jobs a lot more efficiently.

Glen Merryweather, Sales & Marketing Director is delighted about the recent recruitment and said “Following a year of growth I am delighted to have Laura, Sophie and Ben join the team to really help us push forward and support our customers.

They have all immediately fit in to the Allen Signs family and I am looking forward to watching them flourish.”
